Tell us about your journey to becoming a creative?
By loving deeply what I do I have been pushing and developing my printmaking and general creative skills. Having great masters as teachers helped fulfil my thirst and curiosity of competing with the old version of my self. I love self growth and love experiencing creative professional development around me.
How has your creative practice changed over time?
My practice evolves slowly and daily. Expanding the technical boundaries helps discovering new paths and approaches.
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced working in the creative sector?
Financial instability (even though when I had a “normal job” I was more stable but more sad)
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Love what you do
What would your dream project look like, if you had unlimited money and time?
Hosting and collaborating with creatives and artists and generating cultural radical project that would have strong impact in society (without the necessity of being commercial). Also offering free activities to society in need (mental health, poverty, prisons and Indigenous)
Name three creatives that inspire you and why?
Chester Nealie, Shayne Hadley and Christopher Young for their rawness and minimal aspects of their work
