Christopher Young has been a practicing visual artist for 25+ years and has worked in the graphic design and print industry to support his practice. He has extensive experience in the creative, technical and administrative aspects thereof.

He has been self-employed since 2002 and manages his own business. This includes detailed quoting, time-management, graphic design, artworking and production.

These skills are applied across his practice and enable him to deliver high quality outcomes, regardless of the medium.

Further to this, he continues to work remotely from Margaret River as a freelancer for leading Perth creative agencies and have been extensively involved in the technical production of significant campaigns. This includes work for The Perth Mint, Fremantle Dockers, Perth International Arts Festival and many others. He has been central to the production of finished art in close consultation with a team of account managers, creative directors, graphic designers and production co-ordinators.

Organisational- and time-management skills have been critical in all these positions to ensure that work was completed to an exceptional standard and was able to meet critical deadlines. The nature of the work is very precise and process-orientated so his eye for detail has led to award-winning, quality outcomes.
