Deanna Mosca is a multidisciplinary artist based in regional Western Australia whose practice spans painting, weaving, sound, installation, and interactive digital media. Her work examines identity, and visual ethnography through the convergence of analogue and digital processes.

Originally trained in painting and digital media, Mosca’s practice has expanded toward immersive environments and participatory installations that invite audiences into shared sensory and emotional encounters. Drawing from her lived experience of AuDHD, and grief, she uses repetition, rhythm, and audiovisual layering to explore how humans hold themselves together — and what becomes possible when that effort is finally named.

Mosca has exhibited nationally, with strong connections to Western Australian institutions including Bunbury Regional Art Gallery (South West Art Now, 2024) and Old Customs House, Fremantle. Her collaborative work with ArtsiX (Portals, 2023; Vessels, 2025) has brought together VR, animation, vocals, and drawing alongside artists and musicians including Nathan Thompson, Bec Juniper, Jae Laffer, and Paul Woods. Alongside her studio practice, she contributes to arts education and community programming, working from the belief that creativity is a form of collective sense-making and healing.
