Since taking the helm of Yallingup Galleries in 2022, Emma and Matt Skinner have continued to uphold and elevate the esteemed reputation of the oldest established art gallery in the Margaret River Region. Their vision has transformed the gallery into a vibrant hub of creativity and community engagement.
Under their leadership, Yallingup Galleries has introduced several new attractions, including the captivating “Sculpture Trail,” which showcases outdoor installations set against the gallery’s picturesque bush property. Additionally, the on-site cellar door featuring Vallee du Venom has been launched, offering visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy exquisite local wines in a beautiful setting.
Emma and Matt have also reinvigorated the gallery’s programming with an array of exciting events, exhibitions and community projects.
In addition, they are thrilled to unveil a Youth Mentorship Program, designed to engage the younger generation in the arts and foster a lasting love for creativity and artistic expression. Applications are now open; interested participants can email the gallery at contact@yallingupgalleries.com.au for an application form.
“We’re thrilled to build upon the rich legacy of Yallingup Galleries and create a dynamic space where art and community intersect,” said Emma Skinner. “Our goal is to make art accessible to everyone while showcasing the incredible talent that this region has to offer.”
Yallingup Galleries invites art enthusiasts and the community to explore these new offerings and experience the vibrant arts scene that the Margaret River Region is known for.
