Ian Mutch is an Australian artist exploring beauty through nature, narrative and details. He creates work on a variety of scales using acrylics, aerosol, and inks. Abstract brushstrokes and layered backgrounds are detailed with whimsical illustrations of characters, trees, birds, animals, pop culture, colliding universes and patterns. His artwork has won awards, given life to public spaces, and featured for well known brands and publications.
Ian has co-published Kingbrown Magazine and has been an industry speaker at Agideas Melbourne, the Design Institute of Australia and Semi Permanent Sydney.
