The City of Busselton is an identified Creative Industry hotspot, accredited Film Friendly Destination and the Events Capital of WA. The Busselton Cultural Precinct is the heart of our creative community. Housed in heritage listed buildings between the City’s vibrant foreshore and CBD, the Precinct is an eclectic mix of visual artists, local craft, theatre, drama school, music, events and education. In 2024, the Precinct will open the new Saltwater gallery, theatre and events space. The future vision for the Precinct includes the addition of further spaces for the development of creative programs, rehearsal/studio production spaces for musicians and the film industry, and a central place for all creatives to meet and network.
